Two oilfield cheaters made mobile phone sex tapes of one night’s rendezvous, and the man’s wife found them. Her acts of revenge included scratching “cheating b******” into the paintwork of his Audi and, posing as her husband, sending the videos to all of his contacts with the message “Been caught cheating on wife and 8 month old baby with s*** from Shell. Anyone else up for it?” Those video clips spread like a California wildfire on a gusty day.

Though she is still with her husband, oil worker Amy Maxwell claims her life has been ruined because of those thoroughly circulated videos. She has pointed out that they weren’t even having an affair – just a “one-off.” The other cheater, Lee Hanlon, is still with his wife. Both families have placed their homes up for sale and are looking to relocate.

Mr. Hanlon was a Shell project engineer, and sources say he met Mrs. Maxwell about six months ago in Aberdeen, at Shell’s decommissioning plant. Reportedly, when they met, they made plans to meet at the Premier Inn hotel. As proven by the now famous sex videos, they did just that.

As a result of the video footage that was shared relentlessly through online messaging and emails, Shell fired the two contractors who were both hired through an agency. Police are also in on the aftermath. The allegations of the vandalized vehicle and the video distribution are being investigated.

Mrs. Maxwell suggested that you don’t search through your spouse’s phone without a reason. Well, in this case, Mrs. Hanlon was at a friend’s wedding and using her husband’s phone to take pictures. Who doesn’t enjoy looking at their family members’ photos and videos? Hopefully, you certainly don’t expect to find a sex video of your spouse with another person!

LEE AND WIFE CHARAN ON WEDDING DAY The couple are no longer on Facebook by the looks of it but found their wedding day snaps from November 2013. Anyway, Mrs. Maxwell plans to take time off from work for a while. She said she’s received a lot of sympathy regarding the exposé.

Meanwhile, an oil worker in Aberdeen says everyone has seen the video of the cheaters.

What do you think? Should Shell have fired these contractors? Do cheaters deserve a second chance with their spouses? Are sex videos really a smart idea? So much food for thought.
